On 3rd April 2024, Dedienne Sante officially established its CSR committee. One year later, it is time to review the initiatives implemented and the outlook for the future.

A Structured Commitment from Year One
From its inception, the CSR committee aimed to integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the core of Dedienne Sante’s strategy. This approach emerged from an initial carbon footprint assessment, which highlighted the need to structure our actions to reduce our environmental impact, improve social practices, and strengthen our ethical commitments.
During this first year, several key milestones were reached:
- Establishment of the CSR committee, with four annual meetings to track progress and define priorities.
- Development of a CSR committee charter to structure actions and ensure consistency in commitments.
- Implementation of a dashboard to monitor key indicators and project progress.
- Integration of CSR into the quality policy, making it a strategic pillar alongside our performance and innovation commitments.
- Presentation of the CSR approach to our employees, fostering discussions to raise awareness and engage all teams.
- Publication of a CSR commitment letter, outlining the company’s ambitions in sustainable development.
- Online publication of the Non-Financial Performance Statement (NFPS), a document detailing our commitments and achieved results.

A continuously evolving approach
The integration of our CSR policy on our website now provides an overview of all implemented actions and objectives to be achieved: https://www.dediennesante.com/en/societe/policies/. This transparency is essential to unite teams and engage our partners around a shared commitment.
While the first year focuses on structuring the approach, the next steps will involve implementing concrete actions:
- Governance: Integrate the stakeholder questionnaire into our customer satisfaction survey and incorporate CSR into the QMS.
- Environmental: Reduce the environmental impact of packaging, plant trees and flowers, install a water recovery system, and introduce reusable paper towels in Nîmes.
- Economic: Increase the turnover rate of surgical instrument sets to optimize loan profitability.
- Social: Develop an action plan based on the employee satisfaction survey results.
- Societal: Support additional social causes and encourage employee participation.
Moving toward an even more responsible company
Dedienne Santé’s CSR commitment is just beginning. This first year has laid a strong foundation, and the actions ahead will continue to enhance our positive impact on both the environment and society.
